Lancaster Roots & Blues—Feb. 22–24

Celebrate American music at The Roots & Blues Festival of Music and Art. Attracting thousands annually, this festival has amazing live music as well as an incredible art expo to check out.

Enjoy the diverse lineup of artists, including Albert Cummings, BB King Blues Band, Live at the Fillmore, Mama Tried and many more. With 70+ artists preforming at 8 venues, this festival is sure to have everyone in the crowd jamming.

Kennett Winterfest—Feb. 23

Bundle up and enjoy winter brews from over 60 unique breweries, plus live music and food trucks, all at the 7th annual Kennett Winterfest this Saturday. You get unlimited tastings of delicious craft beers sure to warm you up, or complimentary non-alcoholic drinks for designated drivers.

Listen to live music from Afrobear, a four-piece band known for their electric live shows. Proceeds go to Historic Kennett Square. Tickets $60, Designated driver, $15. Info at HistoricKennettSquare.com.

Pancake Breakfast and Maple Sugaring at Tyler Arboretum—Feb. 23

Have a sweet Saturday with the kiddos at the Pancake Breakfast & Maple Sugaring. Stroll through Tyler Arboretum’s maple sugaring stations to learn how sap is turned into the tasty topping we all love, and explore Tyler’s Great Nature Reads with kids activities.

Then, satisfy your appetite with an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast. Tickets $10–$16, under 3 free. Info at TylerArboretum.org.

Jump! For Willowdale Steeplechase—Feb. 23

Break out your best ’80s outfit and party the night away with DJ Frosty, cocktails, a photo booth, and a silent auction at Jump! For Willowdale Steeplechase, part of the pre-race-day festivities. This epic fundraiser benefits the same groups as does the steeplechase race: Stroud Water Research Center, Penn Veterinary Medicine’s New Bolton Center, and Quest Therapeutic Services.
