Town Tours and Village Walks: 13 Tours for 13 Colonies

This series of free, guided summer strolls through historic neighborhoods, hamlets and villages welcomes you to join in celebrating America 250 with an expanded season. Art of Caring: Spring Soirée at The Hickman

Celebrate The Hickman’s 135th anniversary with dueling pianos, local flavors and a silent art auction. The event also highlights Brushstrokes of Purpose, The Hickman’s multi-year mural project designed by muralist Noah Burns. Brews at the Battlefield

Every toast feels bigger with America’s 250th right around the corner. Bring lawn chairs and blankets and head over to the Picnic Grove at Brandywine Battlefield, where the tent and tables will be waiting. Brandywine Valley Symphony Debuts “An American Dream”

In a symphonic salute to America 250, the symphony performs a patriotic medley covering 250 years of our nation’s history, from “Yankee Doodle” to “God Bless the USA” and more. A new composition will be performed alongside timeless favorites by Gershwin, Copland, Bernstein and other noted composers.
