78th Chester County Day

October 6, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

The 2018 Chester County Day will feature 16 homes and 6 public landmarks in the northeast quadrant of Chester County, including Exton, PA; Frazer, PA; Chester Springs PA; Kimberton, PA and Phoenixville, PA.

The Tour celebrates the traditional, distinctive architecture of Chester County, PA with some twists. You can begin the tour at a beautifully restored home in West Vincent Township.  Down the road from this house is a meticulously kept stone Chester County home with great antiques, rugs and a lovingly-cared for garden. You won’t want to miss the spectacularly restored Queen Ann-style home in West Whiteland Township, PA that was designed and built in 1851 by Andrew Jackson Downing.  Around the corner from this house is a pristine stone R. Brognard Okie house set on a hill with a beautiful stone-banked garage. And Loch Aerie Mansion in Frazer, PA will open its newly renovated doors to tour goers this year.

Tickets are $50.  VIP tickets are $100 and include a Preview Party at The Washington in Historic Yellow Springs, a Mini to drive for The Day (while supply lasts), a private tour of the VIP House, and a box lunch by Montesano Brothers.  Tickets are available online at chestercountyhospital.org/giving/support-an-event/chester-county-day. Ticket sales benefit Chester County Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Expansion Project.  For more information on VIP tickets call 610-431-5301.
