Angelic Troublemaker: Bayard Rustin

In celebration of Black History Month, the Westtown Historical Commission hosts a free, hour-long talk on Bayard Rustin, the remarkable man behind the 1863 March on Washington, born and raised in West Chester. Historian David Walter will present an overview of Rustin’s life and achievements, his nonviolent protest tactics and his sometimes-controversial collaborations with Rev.
