"Gilmore Girls" comes to Phoenixville
This week, we spotted some familiar storefronts donning new looks at the first annual “Gilmore Girls” pop-up event in Phoenixville!
Over the weekend, Phoenixville was transformed into Stars Hollow, the setting of the iconic 2000s TV show. Hosted by Silly Little Art Show (aka Al’s Pancake World), nine participating businesses became “Gilmore Girls” locations — including Luke’s Diner (Steel City Coffeehouse & Brewery), Sophie’s Music (Forever Changes) and Stars Hollow Books (Reads & Company).
Attendees collected stamps at each location — five stamps could be traded in for a prize, and completing the whole map earned you a raffle ticket for a special “Gilmore Girls” basket. Special events included a Stars Hollow Paint & Sip at Silly Little Art Shop, “Gilmore Girls” Trivia at Fun Dungeon, and a Luke & Lorelai Look-Alike Contest at Steel City.
