West Chester's 225th Birthday Parade
This week, we celebrated the Borough of West Chester’s quasiquibicentennial — or 225th anniversary — at a very special Birthday Parade!
The festivities kicked off with speeches from local notables, including Mayor Lillian DeBaptiste and State Senator Carolyn Comitta. Music was provided by members of the WCU “Incomparable” Golden Rams Marching Band, and the parade included colorful floats, community organizations and local businesses displaying their West Chester pride, and plenty of birthday cheer!
