"Jamie Wyeth: Unsettled" opens at the Brandywine Museum of Art
This week, we spotted acclaimed local artist Jamie Wyeth at his latest exhibition, “Jamie Wyeth: Unsettled” at the Brandywine Museum of Art.
Though Wyeth is well known for his coastal views and farmscapes, “Unsettled” focuses on Wyeth’s darker and more troubled imagery. The exhibition is comprised of more than 50 works that convey a sense of anxiety, drawn from museum and private collections across the country. Works featured in the exhibit include Roots, Revisited (2019), Poisoned (2022) and portraits of Andy Warhol and Michael Jackson.
“Unsettled” runs through June 9. To learn more, visit the Brandywine Museum of Art’s website.
