Point Entertainment Presents Delbert McClinton—Mar. 22

Rock out this Friday night as multi-Grammy Award winner and Texas Roadhouse rocker Delbert McClinton takes the stage at the Colonial Theatre.

Dance along to the genre-defying music as McClinton blends his Texas roots with roadhouse rock, juke-joint blues, and Memphis soul and country. Join in the excitement for McClinton’s return to the Colonial for a night filled with music and soul. Country western band Rylan Brooks, from Pennsylvania, will open the show. Tickets $29.50–$49.50. 70th Annual Chadds Ford Art Show & Sale—Mar. 22–23

Check out featured works from over 65 professional artists from the Brandywine Valley and beyond at the popular Chadds Ford Art Show & Sale.

Kick off the festivities Friday night with a complimentary reception and sale for adults only. Enjoy live music and complimentary hors d’oeuvres from popular local restaurants. Opening night also includes a meet-and-greet with artists, many of whom will be available to sign or personalize their work.

Bring the kids to the show on Saturday afternoon to enjoy live music and raffle drawings at 3 p.m., with proceeds supporting enrichment programs at Chadds Ford Elementary School. More info at CFES.UCFSD.org/ArtShow.

Cat Show—Mar. 23–24

Grab your feline friends for a purr-fect day at the CFA All Breed Cat Show in Oaks. Watch 10 rings of pedigree cats and household pets from across the country compete for Best in Show. Check out Meet & Greets with the competing cats, or have a little shopping trip for you and your cat.

Don’t have a kitten or cat of your own yet? No problem. The Cat Show also has pedigreed cats and kittens for sale—a perfect opportunity to get your furry family started!

Kennett Symphony Orchestra—Family Concert & Instrument Zoo—Mar. 24

“Oh, the places you’ll go!” Seussian shenanigans are sure to ensue at this interactive musical adventure with the Kennett Symphony Orchestra Family Concert & Instrument Zoo, in an event that’s fun for the whole family. Listen for clues in each composition to discover where the music transports you.

Led by Conductor and Music Director Michael Hall, this kid-friendly show also involves an instrument zoo in which young Beethovens and Mozarts can try the instruments for themselves. Tickets $5. More info at KennettSymphony.org.

Silver Sweet Charity—Mar. 25

Sweet lovers rejoice—the Chester County Community Foundation Silver Sweet Charity Event is here! Indulge in a delectable array of desserts to die for at this annual fundraiser held at the Whitford Country Club. Chester County’s finest, including The Master Baker, General Warren, John Serock Catering and more, showcase their captivating creations and compete for the top dessert prize.

Stop by and say hello to County Lines’ Food Editor, Laura Muzzi Brennan, who will sit on the panel of expert judges. Proceeds support legacy philanthropy in Chester County. It’s sure to be a sweet time. Tickets $125 and up. More info at ChesCoCF.org.
