Grand opening of Amada Radnor

This week, we spotted happy diners, live music and excellent food at the grand opening party for the new Amada location in Radnor!

The latest restaurant from James Beard-winning Iron Chef Jose Garces, the new Amada location serves the signature tapas and Spanish cuisine made famous at the Philadelphia and Atlantic City locations, as well as new dishes exclusive to the Radnor location.

We sampled lots of Amada’s fare, and it was all delicious! We started with the tortilla Española and lamb meatballs, then moved onto the paella Valenciana and wagyu brochettes, and finally tried the Cochinillo Asada (roast suckling pig) with herb-roasted fingerling potatoes and rosemary white beans. For drinks, we sipped delicious sangria and “Tie Me Up Tie Me Down” with citrus-infused vodka, rosemary and lemon.

Though we loved everything, our favorite was hands-down the paella Valenciana, chicken and rabbit paella with bomba rice, judión beans and Spanish saffron.
