| Margie McCreight |
Food Editor
Has lived, with Himself, in an old Chester Springs farmhouse for 40+ years. Been reared to quasi-maturity by two sons. Collects antiques. Cooks “scratch” in a “kitch” constructed by a 70+ Italian carpenter. Raised boxers, whelped litters, now have but one—Gully. Prefers jeans to pantyhose. Can plumb, wire, plaster, paint and, sometimes, is sorry she learned. Dons tennis shoes for forays with local HARB and Historic Commission. Gardens to feed deer. Can it be almost 25 years since she sent in the first tentative article to County Lines? |
| Stacia Friedman |
Contributor
An award-winning author and journalist, Stacia’s work has appeared in many regional publications, where she writes on travel, gourmet cuisine, lifestyles, healthcare and humor. In addition to her journalism career, Stacia is a prolific, creative writer of short stories, novels, plays and screenplays. She has taught at Chestnut Hill, Rosemont and Arcadia Colleges and was awarded a 2006 Fellowship by the PA Council on the Arts. Visit Website |
| Cooky McClung |
Writer
Cooky has covered national and international show jumping for equestrian publications since 1970, and chronicled a decade of Eastern Shore life and politics during her tenure on the staff of The Kent News. Both, she insists, include equal amounts of horsing around. Cooky’s holiday columns and other features have been a beloved feature in County Lines for many years. |
| Laura Muzzi Brennan |
Writer
Laura is a freelance writer covering education issues as well as antiques, fine homes, food and notable Delaware and Brandywine Valley events and people. An avid tennis player and passionate cook, she has recently written fitness and nutrition tips for web distribution by a national health club chain, helped design web content for a local realtor and reviewed marketing materials for a wine business. Laura lives on the Main Line with her husband and two daughters and has yet to meet a topic that doesn’t interest her. |
